Campus Religious Communities
Ithaca College Protestant Community
The Protestant Community at Ithaca College is an ecumenical witness to and with all member of the Ithaca College community. It responds to God's love by its openness to welcome and nurture all who seek. Through worship, fellowship, prayer, Bible study, outreach, and service, the Protestant Community at Ithaca College encourages a deepening relationship with God and promotes growth, learning and identity in discipleship to Jesus Christ.
Ithaca College Hillel (Jewish Community)
Hillel is the core of Ithaca College's Jewish community. Hillel is committed to making possible an array of Jewish activities that offer many different opportunities for involvement - cultural, political, social, secular and religious. In building the campus community, Hillel's goal is to foster Jewish identity, develop leaders, and enhance a commitment to Jewish life that will continue beyond campus years. Not only that, but it's also there to provide you with the facilities to meet new people and have fun. Hillel fosters a visible and positive Jewish presence on campus, participates in interfaith and multicultural activities, and functions in partnership with other organizations of the Jewish community in the Ithaca area and on this campus.
Ithaca College Catholic Community
We are a vibrant faith community whose mission is to help students (and all who come to us) discover the spirit, joy and love of God in every day life and then to carry that spirit, joy and love to others. The community is warm and welcoming and treasures the giftedness of each person, empowering them to use God's gifts in the service of God and others. We are an official parish within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester, New York. Our full-time chaplain, Fr. Carsten Martensen, leads the community with the assistance of many student volunteers. His office is located on the lower level of Muller Chapel, on either side of the small Eucharistic meditation chapel. Stop in and say hello!
