Strong bonds develop as students take part in OMA programs and services during their years at Ithaca College . Those bonds inspire a continuing connection of alumni with our office that benefits each new wave of students. A volunteer group of alumni now lends their experience, insight, and energy as they assist with the office's current activities. These alums also participate in Network Nights, held in various cities during winter break by the College's Offices of Alumni Relations and Career Services.
OMA Alumni Career Mentoring Program
This program matches sophomore and junior OMA students with alumni mentors, and provides training and
structure for both mentors and students. As part of the mentoring process, students participate in
Office of Career Services activities and planned interactions with an alumni mentor, ideally including
an internship experience. Mentors are provided on going training and support as well.
Regional Alumni Groups
We encourage OMA graduates to join local alumni groups and to attend Ithaca College Network Nights and
meet there with the undergraduates they are mentoring.
