Application for Program Funding

 

 

Mission Statement: The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) strives to create a supportive, inclusive environment on campus, resulting in graduates who are culturally competent citizens, agents for social change and leaders in a global society. We seek to foster academic excellence and cultural diversity in the social and learning environment of Ithaca College.

 

 

Information for completing you Funding Request Application:

 

 

Funding Request: The Office of Multicultural Affairs seeks to support Ithaca College students, registered organizations and faculty/departments who provide diversity awareness and education programs that will positively impact our community.

 

 

Deadline and additional documents for application: If your event aligns with our mission, we invite you to request funds by completing this form, attaching all supporting documents* and submit one original and one copy of the completed application three weeks prior to the event.

*sample of supporting documents include, but not limited to; room reservation, catering, equipment or other services invoice, flyers or advertisement, confirmation letters of other approved funding. 

 

 

For Individual Request OnlyAttach a brief typed explanation on why and how your request will advance your personal and career goals. Also attach any supporting documents showing additional details. Complete Section 1 then skip to Section 4 and complete the first section of the Budget Request by Line Item form.

 

 

For Organization and Department Requests Only: Attach a brief typed explanation of the purpose of this event and how it fits the OMA mission (500 words maximum). Complete ALL section of the application.

 

 

Limits of Funding: If application is approved, OMA will fund up to the following limits; 

IC Students with career related request up to $200, Registered Student Organization up to $400, and IC Faculty/Departments up to 10% of event’s budget.

 

 

Notification of your request: The contact person will be notified of the decision, and if funds were approved, they will be transferred to the Ithaca College account you provided.
