Something interesting you would like students to know about you: My teaching, and service interests around trying to create fairer, more inclusive, more effective multicultural schools and communities. Related to this work, I have recently written a successful grant to create a digital recording studio program for youth at Southside Community Center. I also continue to work as a professional musician, performing in a number of bands and composing soundtracks for feature films and nationally broadcast television documentaries.
