Session V – July 6-8, 2009
Session VI - July 8-10, 2009
Session VII - July 13-15, 2009
OL Contract Termination Date:  July 18, 2009

Summer Orientation Leader

The Office for New Student Programs employs 20 enthusiastic and resourceful students as orientation leaders to assist with summer new student and parent orientation. The orientation leader staff will be representative of our diverse undergraduate population. When selecting candidates, we will be looking for a balance of academic year, areas of study, and cultural diversity. For duties, expectations, and employment conditions of leaders, please attend an information meeting:

Orientation Leaders are the people new students and parents associate with Ithaca College when they attend Summer Orientation. Summer Orientation Leaders receive compensation consisting of a salary plus room and board.

The Orientation Leader selection timeline:

• Application deadline was February 19th.  The application is currently closed.
• Group process interviews were held February 23-26th
• First-round candidates notified via e-mail March 3rd
• Sign-up for pair interviews March 6th (interviews to take place March 16th - 27th)
• Recommendations due March 25th
• Decision letters were available March 31st
