Office for New Student Programs

Congratulations on your decision to transfer to the Ithaca College. Your successful transfer to Ithaca begins with attending Transfer Orientation. The Office for New Student programs is committed to helping transfer students make the transition to Ithaca.

Transfer Orientation gives students transferring from other schools information particular to their experience. It also enables transfer students to meet their peers, which helps to ease the transition into a different college and different experience.  During the program, students complete the necessary procedures to begin class, including an academic overview session, schedule adjustment time with your adviser, general information sessions, and logistical matters.  Transfer Orientation is a required program for all new students, both those coming from high school and transfer students from other institutions.  We look forward to meeting you this summer!
