Ithaca College finished in 14th place in the final standings for the U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings. The standings for the contest (formerly known as the Sears Cup) are determined by a school's finish in NCAA playoff competition in selected sports.
Ithaca, which placed 21st last year, is one of nine schools to have placed in the top 30 in each of the award's first 13 years. Ithaca finished with 585.00 points, trailing 13th-place Wisconsin-Stevens Point
by 2.25 points.

Junior Cory Petermann of the men's track and field team and freshman Marcia McCord of the women's track and field team will compete at this weekend's NCAA Championships. The meet will be held Thursday through Saturday at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

The men's lacrosse team (16-2) will host Western New England on Wednesday, May 14, at 2:00 p.m. at Upper Terrace Field in an NCAA quarterfinal playoff game.

The Ithaca College baseball team (29-11) has been chosen to host an NCAA regional tournament from Wednesday through Monday at Falcon Park in Auburn. The Bombers are the second seed for the eight-team tournament, and will play their first game Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. Ticket prices are $3 for general admission and $2 for students, senior citizens, and children under 12.
