National Latino AIDS Awareness Day

Lis Maurer, 10/12/2009

Thursday, October 15, is the annual observance of National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD). It is a day of hope for the future of a world without AIDS.

NLAAD is a day of awareness and prevention of HIV/AIDS in Latina/o communities, and a time to renew our commitment to ending the spread of HIV and ensuring quality of life to those living with the disease. This year's theme is "United we can: Stop HIV and prevent AIDS."
