You've probably heard by now that networking is the key to landing internships and jobs, but you may still be wondering HOW exactly to do that¿ Come to this workshop to learn how to proactively connect with employers and make lasting impressions that can lead to job and internship opportunities.
Teacher Recruitment Days (TRD) is an interviewing event held annually at SUNY Cortland during the spring semester. TRD 2015 will take place on Thursday, April 16 and Friday, April 17. Pre-registration is required. Districts from across the country send recruiters to conduct interviews for known and anticipated vacancies. Candidates from 12 Central New York colleges and universities are invited to attend this employment event. In addition, several graduate education programs from the 12 member CNYTRD colleges and universities will be in attendance on April 16 for undergraduate students interested in obtaining information about their programs.
Network Nights in New York City or Boston were a great success with nearly 300 alumni and 200 students participating, and we’re happy to announce that we’ll be doing another Network Night right here on campus! Career Services and Alumni Relations are co-sponsoring Ithaca Network Night which will be held Friday, March 20. Since networking is crucial to career success, what better way to get connected with IC alumni than right here on campus?
