Ithaca College finished in 21st place in the final standings for the Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings. The standings for the Sports Academy Directors’ Cup (formerly known as the Sears Cup) are determined by a school’s finish in NCAA playoff competition in selected sports.

A school-record 16 Ithaca student-athletes have been named to District I all-academic teams this year. Nominees to the academic all-district teams, which are voted on by sports information directors, must be sophomores, juniors or seniors whose cumulative grade-point average is at least 3.2.

Colleen Barnes, Marian Brown and Terry Martinez are among the “20 Outstanding Women You Should Know,” a group selected for their interesting and inspiring stories from the more than 200 nominees representing local women with diverse careers, backgrounds, volunteer activities and family lives.
