Service and Involvement Scholarships
OSEMA is proud to provide a variety of scholarships for Ithaca College students. Scholarships are awarded based on applications, references, and, in some cases, financial need. Applications for 2013-2014 scholarships will become available in Spring 2013.

William A. Scoones Community Service Award
Open to: Current Sophomores, Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: This award celebrates Bill Scoones' lifetime example of service both to Ithaca College and the greater Ithaca community. It is awarded annually to two rising upper-class students who have made significant contributions to the community through service work.
Rashad G. Richardson “I Can Achieve” Memorial Scholarship
Open to: Current First-Years, Sophomores and Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: The Rashad G. Richardson "I Can Achieve" Memorial Scholarship is intended to recognize a high-achieving Ithaca College student representing the African American, Latino/a, Asian, or Native American (ALANA) community. The student receiving this scholarship will have made significant contributions toward improving the quality of life for ALANA youth in the Tompkins County Community. Students should be in good academic and judicial standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible.
Anne Siegel '81 Memorial Scholarship
Open to: Current Sophomores and Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: Awarded to a rising junior or senior who most closely personifies the qualities and attributes of Anne Siegel, including good academic performance and involvement in the extracurricular life of the College. Established through gifts to the College from the family and friends of the late Anne Siegel.
Class of 1984 Endowed Scholarship
Open to: Current Sophomores and Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: Awarded to a rising junior or senior with demonstrated financial need, solid academic achievement, and active involvement in campus organizations. Established by members of the 1984 senior class as their gift to the College.
Class of 1985 Endowed Scholarship
Open to: Current Sophomores and Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: Awarded to a rising junior or senior with financial need, solid academic achievement, and active involvement in campus organizations. Established by members of the 1985 senior class as their gift to the College.
Class of 1991 Memorial Scholarship
Open to: Current Sophomores and Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: Awarded to a rising junior or senior with demonstrated financial need, solid academic achievement, and active involvement in campus organizations. Established by members of the 1991 senior class as their gift to the College and later expanded to include gifts memorializing former classmates.
Class of 1993 Memorial Scholarship
Open to: Current Sophomores and Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: Awarded to a rising junior or senior with demonstrated financial need, solid academic achievement, and active involvement in campus organizations. Established by members of the 1993 senior class as their gift to the College.
Class of 2006 Endowed Scholarship
Open to: Current Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: Awarded to a rising senior who has a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 and who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and involvement in the Ithaca College community. Financial need is not required. This award honors the many contributions of the members of the class of 2006.
Jed Haubenstock Memorial Scholarship
Open to: Current Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: Awarded to a student entering his or her senior year who demonstrates leadership and involvement in campus activities, as well as a high degree of commitment to furthering the quality of life on the Ithaca College campus.
John P.E. Brown '35 Scholarship
Open to: Current First-Years, Sophomores and Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: Awarded to students who have outstanding academic records and are active volunteers. Established in memory of John P. E. Brown, a member of the College's board of trustees for 52 years.
Robke-Zuris Scholarship
Open to: Current Sophomore and Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: Awarded to rising juniors or seniors in recognition of academic achievement and extracurricular involvement.
Senior Scholarship
Open to: Current Sophomore and Juniors
Award Amount: $300 - $2000
Criteria: Awarded to rising juniors or seniors in recognition of academic achievement and extracurricular involvement.
