"Type or Tweet" is designed to commemorate the civil rights struggles of the 1960s while celebrating our progress as a society.  Students, staff, faculty, and community members will have the opportunity to express themselves using words, much like MLK, Jr. did in his letter from Birmingham Jail.  The event will span generations, from typewriters to twitter accounts.  Music and food will add to the lively atmosphere of this event!

In addition, this event will provide an opportunity to participate in a 'Purposeful Sharing' activity in which students can choose to share their thoughts on the Type or Tweet stage.  Interested students can enter a submission below for consideration.
