What is your favorite dessert?
Chocolate covered strawberries - they are magical.

What is your favorite book?
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen

What is your favorite color?
PINK!

What is one way that you made connections with other students during your first year?
I started going to dinner in the dining halls. It was the best place to meet all kinds of new friends. Eating is a social experience! I also participated in Jumpstart (Lead-In).

If you could dedicate a full year to working for one social justice cause, what would that cause be?
I would work to fix the Foster Care system. I read in one of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books that foster children typically use trash bags when moving their belongings. In my opinion placing their possessions in a trash bag gives children the impression that their lives are of no value. I believe there is no such thing as a “bad kid,” only bad behavior, so changing this image is especially important to me.

What is your favorite OSEMA related event you participated in? Why?
My favorite OSEMA event I participated in was Leadership Weekend. I met some of my very best friends that weekend. Attending helped me come out of my shell. I realized I too had leadership potential. It was a chance for me to showcase my leadership skills.
