Major: Physical Therapy

What is your favorite dessert?
Warm apple crisp alamode

What is your favorite book?
It’s too hard to pick one! My favorites are Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

What is your favorite color?
Teal

Why did you choose your major?
I’ve known since I was a freshman in high school I wanted to be a Physical Therapy major. I like biology, helping people, and sports; so, it seemed like the perfect fit!

If you could dedicate a full year to working for a social justice cause, what would that cause be? Adoption.  It is not well known an issue and is something I have personal experience with. I started a student organization Adoption Support and Awareness Alliance (ASAA) to help students learn about what’s great about adoption. In my opinion, there is no stronger love than family!

What is your favorite OSEMA related event you participated in? Why? OSEMA’s Cross Cultural Leadership Retreat (CCLR). I attended it my first year. This retreat hit close to home and was personal. I met some of my best friends there and made great connections. It helped me realize I wanted to become a Diversity Peer Educator (DPE), and it helped motivate me to get involved in social justice issues. I was a student leader at this year’s retreat!
