Hey IC!

     I started as the Protestant Chaplain here in August of 2010 and have loved every minute of it.  A little bit about me...

     I am originally from the Louisiana/Texas area.  Graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a double major in Religious Studies and Philosophy in 2005 and then spent two years doing College Ministry as an intern in the greater Pittsburgh area.  In 2007, I married my best friend, Samara, and we moved to Atlanta, GA for graduate school.  During my time at Columbia Theological Seminary, i showed off my mad barista skills at the local Starbucks, and became very involved in our local faith community, First Baptist Church of Decatur, GA.  Having graduated with my M.Div. in May of 2010, i shortly thereafter relocated to the beautiful, if frigid, Ithaca, NY and hit the ground running!

     My wife and I have a puppy, Teddy, whose quirky character keeps us constantly entertained.  Samara is an R.N., currently working at Upstate University Medical Hospital in the Oncology Unit, where she offers a caring and healing hand to the sick and hurting.  In the rare occasion I find myself with some spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, bowling, and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers!!!
