SonRise: Sunday Worship Gathering
Rev. James Touchton typically leads worship Sunday nights at 5:00pm (note the new time!) at SonRise: a semi-liturgical, blended worship service. Although some students find a local church to attend during their college years, many find their own student worshiping community to fulfill that need. It is our hope that SonRise will fill that role of church for you during your stay here at Ithaca College. Sunday evenings are a great time to encounter God in community through reflection on scripture, group prayer, Communion, and song.
Sundays are a great place to get involved! Whether you are interested in helping to read scripture, pray, lead a call to worship, play an instrument, or sing, we'd love to have you join our worship team.

We have three exciting series planned for Spring '13: "Jesus' Story...and Ours," A Baptism Series taking us from Lent into Easter, and then a Guest Speaker series entitled "If Nothing Else..." You won't want to miss any of these!
Evensong
Evensong is a student led worship service held in Muller Chapel every Wednesday at 9:30pm, consisting of music, witness, fellowship, and prayer. All are welcome to join us to praise God through song, be encouraged by individual student stories of faith, and be connected to Christ and his body in prayer. Each gathering begins with fellowship prior to the service (starting around 9pm) in order to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones.

Ithaca area worship services
Under the Documents tab on the left, you will find a downloadable list of local churches offering Sunday morning services. Many of our students and Board Members attend these local congregations and would be glad to help you connect with the church of your choice.
