The Office of Recreational Sports oversees the scheduling and management for eight different facilities on campus. The following are located at the fitness center:
- Aerobics room – A 1900-square-foot space, the aerobics room holds approximately 60 classes per academic year. It also houses practices for sport clubs.
- Climbing wall – Built in fall 2005 and standing 26 feet high, the wall features two climbing surfaces for varying levels of experience.
- Outdoor pool – The outdoor pool, located on the east side of the fitness center, is open during the summer months for all members of the campus community. It features two 50-yard swimming lanes, as well as an open area for more relaxed pool enjoyment.
- Exercise area – At 6,800-square-feet, the main area of the fitness center boasts more than 40 pieces of cardio equipment, as well as circuit machines, free weights, and exercise balls and mats.
- Mondo Floor Gym – A 7,025-square-foot area, the mondo floor gym hosts floor and roller hockey and soccer.
- Wood Floor Gym – A 7,200-square-foot area, the wood floor gym houses the climbing wall, and is primarily used for basketball, volleyball, and badminton.
The following are located in the Hill Center:
- Ben Light Gymnasium – Home to the Bomber Athletics teams, the Ben Light Gymnasium also hosts intramural competitions and some sport club practices. The Gymnasium is composed of 3 gyms that can open into one large area, a wrestling room, gymnastics studio, and dance studio.
- Indoor Pool – Featuring six 50-meter swimming lanes, the indoor pool is home to the Bombers’ swimming teams and is available for open swim during the academic year.
