Fitness Center

Satellite Facilities

The Office of Recreational Sports is a part of the Department of Athletics, and we have an opportunity to use athletic facilities for recreational programming such as intramural events and sport club practices.  The facilities that we use for this programming includes:

Ben Light Gymnasium - Located in the Hill Center, the gymnasium is home to Ithaca College Bomber basketball and volleyball teams.  During recreational time, it can be partitioned into 3 smaller gyms.  These gyms can be used for sport club practices, and are also home to many of our intramural activities such as indoor soccer, 3v3 and 5v5 basketball, and floor hockey!  Because of the high volume of athletic practices and games, the Hill Center Gyms are very rarely open for drop-in recreation during the first block in the Fall Semester and the second block in the Spring Semester.  Basketballs and other athletic equipment are available for check out from the Intramural office during Intramural Office Hours.

If you have questions about the gyms, please contact Scott Flickinger at 607-274-1063.

A&E Center - This facility is the newest addition to the Ithaca College campus!  Officially opened and dedicated in the Fall of 2011, the A&E Center is home to a new full-length turf field of field hockey, lacrosse, and soccer as well as intramural flag football.  The building also has an Olympic-sized pool with retractable flooring for open swims and Aqua Zumba classes, and a fieldhouse with an indoor track for open runs, intramural events, and sport club practices!

If you have a question about this facility, please visit the A&E Center site!
