Yoga
This is an introductory class building on the principles of Yoga practice and using the basic format of the Ayengar style.
Individuals interested in taking Yoga at the Fitness Center must register during the first week of classes.
The registration fee is $50 per semester, and there is a maximum of 30 participants per class. You must be an Ithaca College faculty, staff or student to sign up for these classes.

Level One-James Eavenson has been teaching yoga in Ithaca and New York City for the past 11 years. He has studied with many masters in both the Ashtanga/Vinyasa tradition as well as Iyengar Yoga (mostly in India over the past seven years). He has a teaching certificate from the Jivamukti Yoga School in NYC and a certificate from Richard Freeman (Ashtanga Yoga). He continues to study in India and will be teaching there this coming year. Level 1 classes are for beginners and those wishing to stay within a gentle frame work and will accommodate those with injuries and distress.
