For outdoor activities, how do I find out if my game is cancelled?
Managers will be contacted a minimum of one hour before their scheduled games or managers can call (607) 274-3320, weekdays after 2pm and 11am on weekends.
Why does Ithaca College use the rules they do for intramurals?
Ithaca College uses the guidelines and rules that have been established by a national governing body for each sport. These rules have been adopted to provide the safest and fairest play available. The national governing body for each sport is listed in the rules.
How do I sign up for an activity as a team? Individual?
To register a team, print the downloadable form from each activity’s page. Be sure to turn the entry form in (and the forfeit bond, if applicable) to Hill Center 102. Individuals may register as a free agent list by registering on-line and completing the required fields.
Where do I find out about being hired as an intramural official for intramural team activities?
The Officiating site has a listing of all intramural activities and how to work as an official for each sport.
Why do we have to pay a forfeit bond?
Forfeit bonds are used to discourage teams from "just not showing up". The forfeit bond pays for the cost of intramural officials and supervisors when a team doesn’t show. Forfeit bonds are returned if the team does not forfeit for that sport’s season.
Who is eligible to play intramurals?
All faculty, students, and staff are eligible to participate in a specific intramural activity. For each activity, eligibility requirements may be included. They can be found in the intramural rules for the activity as well as the Intramural Handbook.
Where are the Intramural fields?
Emerson field is behind Emerson Hall. The Allen fields are the practice football fields to the north of the main campus entrance. Yavits Extension is the field hockey practice field, north of Upper Allen.
Schedules are posted on both Recreational Sports bulletin boards in Hill Center (on the first floor near the main entrance to the locker rooms and on the second floor near the gym) and in the Fitness Center. Schedules are also online on each activity's home page.
