A: This is quite common. Give the FREE introductory session a try! You have nothing to lose.
Q: I have been told I need medical clearance. What is that?
A: Based on the standards of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), we require anyone with more than three risk factors to seek medical clearance before commencing an exercise program. Risk factors include, but are not limited to, family history of heart disease, age, obesity, smoking, and previous injury. Do not be discouraged! The purpose of medical clearance is to ensure your safety. The largest risk to exercising is not starting!
Q: Can I pick my trainer?
A: Yes! All the trainers have pictures and brief bios posted on the website in the Meet the Trainers section, along with on a bulletin board in the main hallway at the fitness center. You have the opportunity to select who you feel may be the most compatible for you.

At this time it is possible to continue working with your trainer or change it up a little bit and experience working with someone else!
Q: Do you offer gift certificates?
A: Yes! The gift of health is perhaps one of the best. Contact the Personal Training office today to provide a friend or co-worker with a gift certificate. Gift certificates are available for all packages.
