Blue-Light Emergency Telephones

Ithaca College has more than 70 blue-light telephones located strategically across campus. These intercom-like phones are mounted on poles with a blue light at the top so that they can be seen at a distance. Some campus buildings also have these phones mounted outside near their entrances, minus the blue light. Open the door and, with the touch of a button, you'll be connected directly with dispatchers at the Office of Public Safety for emergencies, assistance, or general information.
