It is a pleasure to welcome you to Ithaca College. The Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life offers many programs and services to enhance your educational experience and make your time at Ithaca memorable for all the right reasons.

The education you receive in Ithaca's classrooms, laboratories, and studios will qualify you for the degree you are seeking, but education for a successful and satisfying future requires cocurricular learning experiences as well. You can participate in student organizations, assume leadership roles, and play on varsity, junior varsity, sports club, or intramural teams. Musical and theatrical events not only provide excellent cultural entertainment but also afford the opportunity to perform or work behind the scenes. Or you may choose to participate in one of our student-run media organizations. There are many activities available; you simply need to be aware of them and become involved in those that will supplement your classroom education.

As you explore what Ithaca College has to offer, challenge yourself. Seek and accept responsible roles in those activities that support your interests and goals. If you are an upper-level student and have not participated in educational opportunities beyond the classroom, get involved and take advantage of the time you have left.
