Transfer Students

Orientation

As a transfer student you need different things from an orientation program than first-year students. For this reason our first orientation session of the summer is for transfer students only. This allows us to tailor the program to address your questions and concerns.

The goals for the Orientation Program are to allow students the following:

  • To gain an understanding of the college mission and vision
  • To make a connection with both student peers, faculty, and staff within your academic school and college-wide
  • To gain an understanding of your rights and responsibilities as an IC community member
  • To register for the classes you will take in the fall
  • To receive exposure to some of the academic and social challenges you may face
