How to Install SeeLogo
  
Important note:
To  link SeeLogo to examples and lessons from Dani Novak classes and programs save the file http://www.ithaca.edu/dani/SeeLogo/Lessons/Lessons.htm
in C:\Program Files\SeeLogo\Lessons\Lessons.htm

After you perform this task you will be able to look to the lessons and examples on the web (in Seelogo) by pressing the Lessons Tab
 
The new SeeLogo requires Windows 98, 2000, or XP, and the .NET Framework from Microsoft (your computer may have it already). You can download it here or by running the SeeLogo installer.  The following instructions apply to Internet Explorer.  If you use another browser and are having problems Email novak@ithaca.edu
  1. Click the "New SeeLogo" link on the right. Press the "Open" button on the window that pops up.
  2. Choose the Open Option
  3. When the WinZip window pops up double click on SeelogoSetUp.msi Ignore the security warning (press Yes)
  4. Press the "Next" button to install SeeLogo.
  5. In order to run the new SeeLogo you also need to have Microsoft Multimedia 9 or later version .  If you don't here is the link
To run SeeLogo, go to Start, Programs, SeeLogo.

The old SeeLogo can be used on any version of Windows, and does not need the .NET Framework. Click here for instructions on installing it.

The old version of SeeLogo CANNOT use the students' SeeLogo files on the right.
