Benefit Concert 2007

I am pleased to say that in February 2007, thanks to the donations of many generous individuals and a benefit concert organized at Castaways (as part of Bob Marley's Birthday and Tribute Concert, in Ithaca, NY) I was able to raise $1,800.00. This money was sent to Ndebofa. As it turns out, he was unable to buy the extractor because his crops were not yet mature and it was recommended to him by an agricultural extension agent that he wait. Instead, he used the money to open a small shop where he can sell the palm oil being produced by himself and his community, along with other household needs. He was exceptionally grateful to all involved. I'd like to thank the following for their time and assistance and generous hearts: All of the musicians involved Castaways - Will Fox
