Committees Mission: Benefits Committee Mission: The Faculty and Staff Benefits Committee is committed to ensuring “that IC is seen as a first choice employer (statement taken from the IC Institutional Plan). This Committee is dedicated to providing a strong consulting liaison with the Office of Human Resources concerning both current benefits and proposed changes in benefits, sharing concerns/reactions by the represented bodies to the Office of Human Resources, and making recommendations for changes in benefits.
Blood
Drive Committee Mission: To bring to campus and organize Red Cross blood drives in order to collect life-saving blood for those in need of it.
Bus
Trip Committee Mission:
To plan and coordinate all aspects of bus trips for Ithaca College staff, faculty, students, and friends that are social and extracurricular in nature.
Caring
and Sharing Committee To help Ithaca College colleagues and their immediate families by providing food and clothing, supplementary school supplies, and holiday gifts for their children when faced with financial difficulties.
JJ Staff
Scholar Award Committee Mission: To review applications submitted by eligible full-time Ithaca College personnel who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree and select the top two candidates for a cash award that can be used for books or other educational materials and resources.
Our Kids Committee (Currently Inactive) Mission The Our Kids Committee is an ad hoc committee of the IC Staff Council Committee. Our purpose is to explore and recommend programs that foster and enhance a family-friendly environment for the IC Community.
Picnic
Committee To organize all logistical matters related to the annual IC Family Picnic.
Veteran's
Day Committee Mission: To organize all matters related to the annual Veterans’ Day festivities on campus.
