An example of a workshop that took place a little over a year ago:

Wokshop for math teachers on applications of mathematics to economics for use in the classroom, will be held at BOCES CENTER, Warren Road, Ithaca, NY. This workshop will Include probabilities of a lottery game, present value analysis, mathematics of credit card interest, profit maximization, break-even analysis.

Dr. John Maceli, Mathematics, Ithaca College.
