Programs
It All Adds Up"It All Adds Up" is a Web-based, interactive program designed to help high school teachers and students understand
responsible personal finance management skills and the proper care and use of credit. The site: Provides safe and pedagogically sound interactive learning. Promotes standards-based education. The site activities are aligned to relevant standards in economics and math (Voluntary National Content Standards in Economics, NCEE, 1997; and the Principles and Standards for School Mathematics published by the National Council on Teachers of Mathematics) Provides real-world applications that are relevant to high school students. |

Economics For All Teachers: Virtual EconomicsA CD-ROM "Virtual Economics - An Interactive Center for Economic Education". This program offers professional development workshops for teachers (K-12) in the use of one of the "basic economic toolkits", the CD-ROM Virtual Economics (2.0), demonstrating to teachers how to use it to improve their classroom teaching. Virtual Economics contains 150 documents and 30,000 pages of lesson plans, teacher guides, and resource material for K-12 classroom use. The program has been funded by grants from the International Paper Company Foundation. |
