•        How do the IC/CU and IC/Wells exchanges work?

IC has entered into agreements with both colleges, allowing our students to take courses there for free in exchange for IC allowing some of their students to take courses here for free. The rules are that the participating students must be matriculated (i.e. working towards a degree) and taking a fulltime course load. Each student is allowed 12 free credits; after 12, the student must pay for the extra credits. So, usually these students have no charges unless they are over their 12 credit limit. Normally they do not pay a registration fee, unless they register late. The Office of Graduate and Professional Studies oversees this program.

•        How does the Washington Program work as far as billing?

•        What do students pay if they want to take a course for audit?

Ex Mu, Graduate, and Part-time matriculated undergrads pay the audit rate per credit (which is 10% of the undergraduate rate/credit for all categories). Full-time matriculated undergrads do not pay for an audit, even if it brings them to over 18 credits.  This policy went into effect in Fall 2005.
