Here provide evidence of your ability to use technology in a manner that relates to your major. For each piece of evidence that you include, be sure to give a brief background and provide a link to the item, if appropriate. You need to include two examples of your work -- I suggest your web instruction/source unit and either your brochure or newsletter... but you may include other examples of artifacts documenting your ability to use technology. PRovide a brief introduction to the programs with which you worked and the assignments.

Web Design

The web provides a wonderful means to reach out to people for many different purposes. Here is an example of my ability to design web pages to instruct people .... make a link to your web page

Desktop Publishing

The ability to communicate information, news, etc. promote program. Here is an example of an informational brochure I made using Publisher. I also created a newsletter using .... Make links to your newesletter and brochure.

Spreadsheets and Charting

I can use a spreadsheet for a variety of different functions. Charting also provides an excellent means to clearly communicate information.

Powerpoint

Used for presentions -- can be used to support a talk or can create an automatic powerpoint to motivate and/or persuade people.
