Read Viewport V in your text!!!

In this unit, we will work with music sequencing software. Sequencing programs are designed to allow you to record musical information from a keyboard and save that information in a digital format. Because of the almost universal implementation of the MIDI protocol, these files are quite small and, more importantly, they can be transported to almost any machine. We will study the MIDI protocol and use a sequencer program to create various types of musical projects. Below are links to PDF files and web sites that you should read or visit in order to gain a better understanding of these topics.
