Volunteerism is one of the coolest things about Ithaca, and it's easy to get involved in a number of ways. On campus, students can volunteer for the phonathons that raise money for scholarship funds, the library, athletic teams, and other College needs and that congratulate newly accepted students. There are also plenty of community service opportunities available, like our annual Community Plunge and Celebration of Service.

Alumni Hall is one of Ithaca's campus landmarks, adjacent to our main entrance. Serving as the headquarters for our alumni relations office, the original house was constructed early in the last century; a new, larger wing was added in 1989 to house marketing communications, media relations, and the Office of Institutional Advancement. Here you'll find our staff organizing on- and off-campus events or developing and designing our publications. Students get in on the act by volunteering for fund-raising campaigns that promote everything from the lacrosse team to the College's scholarship funds.
Events like Homecoming, Alumni Weekend, and alumni club activities are all coordinated here, giving our alumni outlets for staying in touch. In addition, our alumni magazine, the Ithaca College Quarterly, is produced here. Alumni Hall is also home to the Office of Media Relations, which provides the rest of the world with campus news and information. In addition you'll find the Office of Marketing Communications, which works in tandem with offices and departments across campus to promote Ithaca College in print, in the media, and on the web.
