The chapel and pond are the best spots on campus to get away from everything and be alone with your thoughts. Sometimes classes meet on the chapel lawn, and I've also taken time to meditate here. All you see is water and ducks; it's beautifully serene.

Visitors to Ithaca College often remark on the number of beautiful vistas and landmarks around campus. Architecturally and artistically breathtaking, our surroundings awe and inspire.
One of the most recognizable spots on campus is Muller Chapel and its adjacent pond. Reaching skyward, the space is beautiful both from within and afar. The structure was erected in 1976 and is surrounded by a commemorative brick walkway engraved with the names of many of our donors. With an amphitheater-like sanctuary warm with natural wood tones, the chapel is truly a welcoming and soothing space.
Scattered across campus are a number of pieces of art by local and international artists. The works range from the scientifically inspired -- the armillary sphere near Park Hall or the sundial in front of Dillingham -- to the aesthetic -- the facade of the Center for Health Sciences or the columns in front of the Center for Natural Sciences.
