The Gannett Center is home to the Ithaca College library, which houses the College's wide-ranging collection of books, magazines, music collections, and microform resources. Some of those materials are housed in the multimedia center, an extensive video and audio collection for student and faculty use. The library also maintains a collection of electronic books, which can be accessed 24/7 by any Ithaca College student.
Anyone interested in studying abroad should get acquainted with the language center; we have materials available in dozens of languages. Several listening stations and a wide variety of media help students hone their linguistic skills and learn about other cultures.
The Department of Art History at Ithaca College is a leader in the use of digital technology for teaching and research.
Downstairs, the Department of Art History is on the cutting edge of technological innovation in art history education. In the department's e-classroom, high-end Macs with cinema-display monitors, state-of-the-art projection technology, and top-notch imaging software help make the works of Rembrandt, Degas, and van Gogh come alive in a whole new way.

In addition to the art history department, the Department of Anthropology and the Office of Career Services are housed in the Gannett Center. The career services office is a busy place: the office presents dozens of programs for classes and clubs on applying for jobs and graduate school, interview skills, and job and internship search strategies, plus it provides mock interviews and connects students with hundreds of employers through numerous job and internship fairs.
