Hands On in the Handwerker

The Handwerker Gallery displays art ranging from world-renowned exhibits to faculty and student works. The gallery has recently presented works by emerging artist Tonya Gregg, a collection of contemporary Iraqi and Palestinian art, and a show of contemporary prints by Gregory Page presented together with a collection of plaster casts of great works of art on long-term loan from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Handwerker also sponsors artist discussions and other events that contemplate and challenge contemporary and conventional ideas about art, and the gallery features readings, lectures, and music through its Thursdays at the Handwerker series.
