For selected juniors and seniors in the Park School, the James B. Pendleton Center in Los Angeles is more than an off-campus study opportunity: it's a full immersion in today's world of communications.

The Pendleton Center is located about halfway between the television studios of Burbank and the movie lots and record companies of Hollywood. This prime locale allows students easy access to the many internship sites offered through the program.

Our students have worked with the pros on the soundstages and production lots of major television networks, helping to create shows like Days of our Lives, Last Call with Carson Daly, and The Ellen Degeneres Show. They've helped produce music videos for Capitol and Atlantic Records, they've interned with major corporations such as Twentieth-Century Fox, Warner Brothers, Variety, the Los Angeles Times, Edelman Public Relations, and the Jim Henson Company.

In addition, Ithaca students take classes from professors and guest lecturers who work in the industry, including successful Ithaca alumni like Emmy and Grammy Award-winning video producer Mark Romanek '81, whose work includes clips for REM and Nine Inch Nails and credit as writer-director of the Robin Williams feature film One Hour Photo.
