Living on campus is a key component of the Ithaca experience. The residential life staff, which includes an RA (residence assistant) on many floors, works hard to make sure students live in a supportive and fun atmosphere. There is always something going on in the halls, whether it's a movie, a guest speaker, or a study group. Hall parties and late-night runs to local super-supermarket Wegmans make for lively evenings. Staff members also help students resolve personal crises and academic problems, and they even help sort out the occasional roommate dispute.
