The Ithaca College Chorus is a large ensemble dedicated to distinctive and varied repertoire including music from all periods, a wide range of styles, and music from many cultures. Each spring the ensemble presents a major work such as the Fauré Requiem. The group appears in concert at least six times throughout the year on campus. They have performed Handel's Messiah with Ithaca's professional Cayuga Chamber Orchestra in Ithaca's Historic State Theater and in Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall as part of the Choral Union. The ensemble has worked with many guest artists and composers including New York Voices and Horace Boyer. Dr. Janet Galván is the conductor of the chorus.
