Conflict of Interest
Students are not allowed to complete clinical education coursework at placement settings:
1. where any family member(s) are employed.
2. where the student has previously been employed or the student has been a volunteer.
3. owned by a family member.
Such a placement has the potential for grading bias. Failure to disclose this information may result in removal from the site and termination of the clinical education course. This situation is considered unethical and unprofessional. Students who are unsure if a conflict exists should contact the DCE/ADCE to determine their eligibility for the site.
