Here you can check out some of the NBC Interns' daily schedules and compare them to the daily schedule of US speed skater and Olympic medalist Apolo Anton Ohno. While the events that take place are different, the dedication and hard work are the same. Despite the fact that each of the people compared are very different, we hope that you'll see that in the end we're all young people just trying to get ahead in life.

Apolo Anton Ohno's schedule is approximated from information compiled from The Ohno Zone. Sona and Jen's were based on a normal day in Control C at the International Broadcast Center (IBC). Amy's schedule based on a normal day at Palavela for "Olympic Ice".

Wake up, eat a light breakfast
Get home, brush teeth, put a movie on, try not to wake up roommate
Waking up...or hitting the snooze for another 5 minutes

Head over to the rink - start an early ice practice
Chat with roommate who just got up to go to work
Showered, dressed and heading to bus for the IBC
8:45 am
Wake up and begin to get ready for the day
Ice practice officially starts
Turn off the movie, totally exhausted, fall asleep
On bus headed towards IBC, listen to iPod, and hopefully becoming more awake for the day ahead
10:45 am
Quick breakfast in the commissary
Finishes up ice practice

Get record tapes ready for the show and log previous tapes for tape library database
11:30 am
Logging tapes, usually cross country skiing or biathlon.
Head back to training center

Lunch and rest until the next training session of the day.

5:00 pm
Usual break time for dinner. Head to commissary and grab food,
Bring it back to Control C and log with one hand and eat with the other
Dry land training ends.
Get up, get ready, get on the bus to go to the IBC
Taping is usually over, so I pick up tapes and deliver to the post production office, and watch editing
6:00 pm
Melt time, logging the collaboration of "good shots" of each event
Sports medicine, ice bath, and massage therapy
Finish "breakfast" and start work, transition with Marco, another intern to find out what I need to do
Dinner Time!
7:00 pm
The big event of the night starts. Logging either figure skating or short track speed skating
Eat dinner
Help to log one of the many feeds coming in
Hanging out with some of the producers and production assistants our tiny edit bay. We all became very close
7:45 pm
Still logging the biggest event of the night
Sharpen skates and review footage of the day's practices
Run errands
Either watching an event at Palavela, the figure skating venue, or heading back home
8:30 pm
