polyversal thinking, feminisms across the globe, anti-racist feminisms, openings, social justice, egalitarian democracy, creativity, imaginings, democracy for us all

Hi. I am Zillah Eisenstein, an anti-racist feminist activist, professor and author who lives in Ithaca, New York, with my daughter Sarah, and partner Richard Stumbar.

Most recently my political work has taken me to Bosnia, Cuba, Ghana, India, Egypt, Turkey, Mexico and Spain to assist in building a transnational feminist response critical of global capitalism. Several of my books have been translated into Spanish and German (as well as other translations on the web) which may be helpful to some of you.
