Residential Learning Communities (RLCs) let you learn, work on projects, and take in faculty presentations with your academic peers. And when it's time to unwind, enjoy group social events together, or step outside to immerse yourself in nature and explore.

If you are interested in living in one or more of the Residential Learning Communities (RLC) for Fall 2024, fill out an RLC application in the Housing Portal (accessed via HomerConnect).
RLC Application Due Dates:
The FIRST Place RLC is open to any student who identifies as first-generation regardless of class year.
The Health and Wellness RLC is committed to overall wellness while balancing student life.
Open Pages is to provide an inclusive supportive community space for transgender and non-cis identifying students.
The Outdoor Adventure RLC will stimulate and challenge you to gain survival and outdoor adventure skills.
The Quiet Study community is designed for students who prefer a quiet environment where they can live and study.
Open to all students who want to learn more about the BIPOC student experience, history, and movements.
The STEM RLC is for first-year students whose Degree programs are in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
The Substance-Free RLC provides students a community where students commit to living a substance-free lifestyle.
The Transfer RLC provides a supportive and welcoming environment for students who are new to Ithaca College as transfers students.
