SGC, or Student Governance Council, is the chief governing body that represents the students of Ithaca College. Through conversation and actions, we make student concerns heard by other students, the college, and the community.
-
SGC is comprised of the Executive Board, and the Senate. Together, they create initiatives on behalf of the student body in an effort to make positive change. You can learn more about SGC and its membership on the About page!

There are a couple ways to get involved with SGC! You can get into contact with us on the Contact page. You can also come see us at an upcoming event, which you can find on the Get Involved page! If you're interested in learning about or helping with a bill, check out our Initiatives page. If you want to write your own bill, email the Senate Chair!

Great, that's why we're here! You can reach out to any member of Student Governance Council through the Contact Us page. You can also come visit us at any SGC meeting, as there is a set aside time slot at the beginning of every meeting called "Community Session" where any member of the student body is welcome to talk to SGC in an open forum. You can see some upcoming meetings on the Get Involved page!
