I spent the summer interning at The Frontier, an independent media organization, in my hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I enjoyed being home with my family during the summer of 2020, but I’m thrilled to be able to spend this fall in Ithaca. I am immersing myself fully in my volunteer work with The Village. From working with children directly in mentoring and tutoring positions to assisting with production of promotional materials for the nonprofit, I’m happy to have a role in a place that has meant so much to me since my first year in Ithaca. I will also be volunteering with the Women’s Opportunity Center group service this semester and am hopeful about the prospect of being able to lead the MacCormick Literary Project again in the spring. In between these projects and classes, I will be acting as the Event Manager and contributing photographer for Passion Project. I look forward to everything this final year of undergrad has in store.
