I’m so excited for a fulfilling senior year at IC. This summer, I interned at NBCUniversal on the Direct to Scale team in the Ad Sales department, where I researched various direct-to-consumer trends and brands and created a personalized sales pitch for a DTC brand in a major growth stage. This fall semester, I’m interning at NBCU on the Client Advocacy team which strategizes ways for our advertising partners to prioritize minority populations when creating campaign targeting goals.
Outside of class and work, I will continue to create media and marketing materials for local non-profit organizations with Megaphone Media Club, as well as volunteer with Partners in Health, a global health organization focused on restoring social justice through accessible healthcare.
In the spring, I will be participating in ICLA, where I will be living and working in LA. I’m looking forward to getting involved in a new community and finding where I fit in there. I’m excited to learn about ways I will be able to engage with my new community members and get involved with social justice initiatives there.
