I am looking forward to what this semester has in store for me! This semester I am attending Ithaca College’s Los Angeles program. While in LA, I will be interning with NBC’s Dateline Los Angeles team. As a Dateline intern, I am looking forward to working with and learning from some great journalists who have years of experience. I am also looking forward to gaining more hands-on experience in investigative journalism throughout this internship. In addition to my internship, I will be continuing my service remotely by contributing to Megaphone. This semester we are specifically working with Southside Community Center and Village at Ithaca. I am looking forward to working with these two meaningful organizations that play a vital role in the greater Ithaca community. Aside from my internship and service, I am looking forward to exploring California. I am also eager to attend some live television shows, which will allow me to learn more about television production in a professional sense.
