I am thrilled to begin my senior year at Ithaca College after spending the spring semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. I spent a productive summer working as a Gender Equity intern for Tucker Center for Research on Girls and Women in Sport, where I was able to use many of the skills I have learned during my time at IC so far to collaborate on research and create a strategic communications plan. During the academic year, I will be serving as the Editor in Chief for The Ithacan — the student run, award-winning newspaper at Ithaca College. I’m both honored and grateful to step into this role, as we work together to increase our digital focus by shifting to a bi-weekly print publication schedule. I am also looking forward to returning to volunteering at the Tompkins County Public Library as a circulation assistant. I am so excited to be back on campus this semester and am incredibly grateful to be able to dive into all of the opportunities the Park Scholar Program has given me so far.
