Khayla Robinson Headshot

I am a junior who is passionate about the music and entertainment industry and organizations centered around social justice.

This past summer, I interned with Washington, DC’s Department of For-Hire Vehicles, an agency under DC’s District Leadership Program. DFHV regulates taxis, limos, private vehicles, and rideshare vehicles, while also providing transportation services to DC residents and visitors. As an intern, I exercised my graphic design and administrative skills, while gaining knowledge of the community.

At Ithaca, I will continue involvement with WICB, ICTV, and the Pulse Hip Hop dance team. As WICB’s Social Media Strategist, I manage WICB’s Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. I also DJ for Weekend Rhythms every Friday night. As Assistant Producer/Writer for ICTV’s Blacklisted, I pitch and write content for shows. I am Co-President of Pulse.

For individual service, I am working with a Park Scholar Program graduate, Eden Strachan, on her multimedia organization Black Girls Don’t Get Love. For group service, I will work with The Village at Ithaca to help with various community projects.
