As a first-year Television-Radio major, I’m excited to explore the opportunities that the Park Scholar Program and Ithaca provide. In high school, I worked as a Staff Writer my junior year, and Culture Editor my senior year for my school’s student-run newspaper.

Now, I’m exploring new forms of media to find my niche. Currently, I’m hosting WICB’s “Ladies First” station under Weekend Rhythms with two other people. The station is centered around playing female artists in rap, hip-hop, and R&B. Outside of media, I’m a member of Ithaca’s Pulse Hip-Hop Dance team, which is focused on hip-hop style dancing. Our performances will be on and off-campus, with the opportunity for community service involvement, focused on dancing.

My group service project, Device Advice, is centered around helping residents of retirement communities with technological concerns. In the future, I hope to participate in more organizations on campus, such as Park Productions or ICTV, to delve into more forms of media.
