In my previous experience as a Marine and musician, I saw firsthand the unique athletic demands placed on the individuals in these fields. It was clear to me that there exists a need in these fields for the knowledge and skill set that athletic trainers provide. I knew coming to Ithaca College would give me the tools I need to make a positive impact in the lives of athletes, especially those in non-traditional settings like the performing arts and military. Upon graduating, I hope to continue my education by pursuing a doctorate of physical therapy degree at Army-Baylor University.

While at Ithaca College, I've had the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant for several courses. Serving in this role allowed me to continue utilizing my skill set as an educator while providing a valuable service to fellow students and deepening my own knowledge. Collaborative learning experiences like these helped foster the strong sense of community for which Ithaca College is known. I am extremely grateful to the professors, clinical instructors, and members of the campus community for an amazing experience at Ithaca College that prepared me to take on the many challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
